Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Hellas Verona centre-back Marash Kumbulla.
The 20-year-old, who came through the youth system at Verona, has scored once in 18 Serie A appearances during the 2019-20 campaign.
Chelsea and Manchester United have both recently been credited with an interest in the Albania international amid suggestions that he could be available for around £27m this summer.
According to FC Inter News, though, Arsenal have also joined the race for Kumbulla and are prepared to battle a number of clubs for the central defender's signature.
Inter Milan are also thought to be admirers of the youngster, whose current deal with Ivan Juric's side is due to expire in the summer of 2022.
William Saliba is expected to form part of Arsenal's first-team squad next season after a loan spell at Saint-Etienne, but the Gunners continue to be linked with a number of new centre-backs.
