Barcelona are reportedly not looking to sign Manchester United forward Anthony Martial on loan this month.
The France international has told the Red Devils that he wants to leave during the January transfer window, and a number of clubs have been credited with an interest in his services.
According to Sport, during conversations with Man United to discuss Edinson Cavani, Barcelona were informed that Martial was available on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
However, the report claims that Xavi's side are not interested in the 26-year-old despite being keen to improve their options in the final third of the field.
Sevilla have been strongly linked with the Frenchman but allegedly cannot afford to pay his wages for the remainder of the season, with the La Liga outfit being forced to drop their interest.
Martial has found it difficult to make his mark for Man United during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring just one goal in 10 appearances in all competitions, and he is not currently being considered for selection.
Barcelona are allegedly determined to sign Alvaro Morata before the end of the month but face difficulty when it comes to convincing Juventus to let him leave.
