Barcelona to rival Man United for Rodrigo Moreno?

Valencia forward Rodrigo Moreno emerges as a January transfer target for Barcelona, according to a report.

Barcelona could reportedly battle Manchester United for the signature of Valencia forward Rodrigo Moreno before the end of the January transfer window.

United are believed to have identified the Spain international as a potential target having been hit with the news that Marcus Rashford will miss the next couple of months with a back injury.

However, according to Marca, Barca are also considering a move for the 28-year-old as they look to boost their options in the final third of the field.

Ousmane Dembele remains on the sidelines with a hamstring problem, while Luis Suarez is also out for an extended period having recently undergone a knee operation.

Rodrigo - thought to be valued by Valencia in the region of £51m - has scored four times and provided 10 assists in 22 appearances for Los Che this season.

The attacker, who is capable of playing in a number of different positions in the final third of the field, also has an impressive record at international level having managed eight goals in 22 outings for Spain.
