Jesse Lingard has agreed to extend his loan spell with Birmingham City by a further two months.
The winger was due to return to parent club Manchester United following tomorrow's game against Leeds United.
Manager Lee Clark told BBC Sport: "He's back from international duty [with the England Under-21 side], and we've now got him signed up until 14 December.
"There was competition again from other clubs, but we can now breathe a sigh of relief and concentrate on football and getting a few more top performances out of him."
The 20-year-old, who netted four times on his debut for Birmingham, is the club's top scorer so far this season.
