Angel Gomes has hinted that he intends to stay at Manchester United for the long term, despite rumoured interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The 19-year-old progressed through United's academy ranks and has made six first-team appearances this season, the last of which came in January.
Uncertainty surrounds Gomes's future, however, as he is due to become a free agent at the end of the campaign.
Chelsea have been tipped to make a move for the young midfielder in the summer, but he has now suggested that his future lies with United.
"I've seen it over the years, coming up from the academy and being at United my whole career," he told teammate Andreas Pereira on Google Hangout.
"It's what I want to go on to do - win trophies for the club."
United are reportedly prepared to offer Gomes £30,000 a week to sign a new contract.
