Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland has described reports linking him with a transfer to Manchester United as "boring".
The Norwegian youngster erupted onto the scene by scoring four goals during Salzburg's 6-2 win over Genk in their opening Champions League game of the season.
Such achievements prompted a series of reports linking Haaland with a move to Old Trafford - something which mushroomed after the teenager scored during a 4-3 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
Speaking soon after the game, Haaland told VG: "The media attention is huge. It's good pressure.
"The club is good at shielding me a little, but I hope it will be more shielding in the future. It will be difficult, but we will try. I want to be shielded.
"It's boring. I'm bored now. On a scale of 1 to 10 [of how bored]? 9.9."
Reports have also claimed that Juventus will enter the race to sign Haaland during the next summer transfer window.
By scoring at Anfield, Haaland followed in the footsteps of his father, Alf-Inge Haaland, who was involved in a famous clash with Roy Keane in which the latter broke Haaland's leg.
