Manchester United could reportedly still be in line to sign Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels, despite recent speculation stating otherwise.
The Red Devils have been linked with the German international for some time, but the Bundesliga outfit insisted that they want to keep Hummels following the arrival of new boss Thomas Tuchel.
Reports have also claimed that Ilkay Gundogan's decision to leave Dortmund could hamper United's chances of signing Hummels as the German outfit try to hold on to their best players.
However, according to Bild, a potential move to Old Trafford is still on the cards for the defender, who has been targeted by United manager Louis van Gaal for his summer rebuild.
Hummels has been a Dortmund player since his move from Bayern Munich in 2009.
