Romelu Lukaku has reportedly played a key role in Inter Milan's expected deal for Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez will allegedly undergo a medical with Inter on Wednesday night ahead of joining the Italian giants on loan from Manchester United for the remainder of the 2019-20 campaign.
United sold Lukaku to Antonio Conte's side earlier this summer, and the Belgium international scored on his competitive debut for the club against Lecce.
According to the Daily Mail, Lukaku had a number of telephone conversations with Sanchez where the centre-forward urged the Chile international to make the move to the San Siro.
The report claims that the former Chelsea forward also told Sanchez that Milan was 'more elegant and liveable than Manchester'.
Conte's team will allegedly contribute around £4.5m of the attacker's salary, although there is not believed to be an option to turn the deal into a permanent transfer at the end of the campaign.
