Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is reportedly a transfer target for Manchester United, who are willing to go as high as £200m with their offer.
The Brazil international is said to be seeking a move away from the Parc des Princes, just a year after arriving in a record £198m switch from Barcelona.
Neymar is rumoured to have already informed his PSG teammates of his desire to leave during the summer, with Real Madrid the favourites to sign him.
According to The Mirror, however, United are also lining up a sensational swoop and are prepared to match the amount offered by Real.
The report suggests that, as well as making it clear they will pay the world-record sum, the Red Devils can also afford the 26-year-old's £30m-a-year wages.
Neymar scored 25 goals and set up 16 more in a combined 27 Ligue 1 and Champions League outings for PSG prior to sustaining a season-ending injury in February.
