Manchester United working on Cristiano Ronaldo return?

Manchester United are reportedly working on a deal to bring Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford this summer.

Manchester United are reportedly working on a club-record deal to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford this summer.

The Portuguese frontman departed Manchester six years ago to join Real Madrid, but the Manchester Evening News suggests that United are looking to launch an attempt to bring the fan favourite back to the club.

The 30-year-old is currently under contract at Madrid until 2018, having netted 225 goals in 200 appearances for the La Liga outfit.

United sold Ronaldo to Madrid for £80m in 2009.
