Manchester United have confirmed that Adnan Januzaj has returned to the club from his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund.
The Belgium international joined the Bundesliga outfit on a season-long loan deal last summer, but the move has been cut short.
Reports emerged on Wednesday evening claiming that United had requested to end the loan in order to have Januzaj back at Old Trafford for the second half of the season.
Official confirmation came from United on Thursday afternoon via a statement, which read: "Borussia Dortmund has agreed to cancel the loan agreement for Adnan Januzaj.
"Adnan will rejoin the first-team squad immediately. He has returned to Manchester in order to clarify the details."
Januzaj did not start a single league match during his time in Dortmund.
