Manchester United have reportedly ended their interest in signing West Ham United youngster Kai Corbett.
While the 17-year-old is highly regarded at the London Stadium, he has recently had trials with Bristol City and United.
After failing to earn a move to the Championship outfit, Corbett netted in a second-string outing for United, increasing the possibility of a switch to Old Trafford.
However, according to reliable Twitter account 'ExWHUemployee', the Premier League giants do not intend to follow up their interest.
The social media user said: "He was on trial at Manchester United but if he leaves West Ham, his new club have to pay a large compensation deal and Manchester United felt he wasn't worth that apparently."
Corbett made two substitute outings for the Hammers Under-21 side in the EFL Trophy earlier this season.
