Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly contemplating a bid for Lille youngster Boubakary Soumare.
Despite his side's early exit from the Champions League, the 20-year-old has continued to impress in the centre of the Ligue 1 team's midfield.
While Lille will likely prefer to keep hold of Soumare until the end of the season, much could depend on any offers which are received in January.
La Voix Du Nord claims that United and Spurs are two of a number of clubs who are considering an approach for the prospect.
The report adds that it may cost in the region of €60m (£51m) for any interested club to have a bid accepted at the midway point of the campaign.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have also been linked with Soumare in the past, although it is said that the West Midlands outfit are now not in the running for the defensive-minded player.
