Manchester United are reportedly planning to announce the signing of Paul Pogba from Juventus before the start of the season next week.
The France international is widely expected to become the most expensive footballer in history in a deal worth around £100m.
The transfer saga has been running all summer, but according to the Manchester Evening News, the deal has been concluded and the 23-year-old will be officially unveiled before the Premier League starts next weekend.
Jose Mourinho told reporters yesterday that a fourth summer signing would definitely arrive, but refused to confirm whether that player was Pogba.
The report adds that the midfielder initially wanted to join Real Madrid, but his agent Mino Raiola convinced him to return to Old Trafford.
Pogba, who joined Juventus in 2012 after former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson allowed him to leave for nothing, is currently on holiday in the United States.
United have already signed Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer.
