Manchester United have reportedly opened talks over a summer deal for Bayern Munich's Corentin Tolisso.
The 25-year-old, who is currently on the sidelines with an ankle injury, has scored three times and registered five assists in 24 appearances at club level during the 2019-20 campaign.
Tolisso has largely struggled to hold down a regular spot this term, though, and his current deal at the Allianz Arena is due to expire in the summer of 2022.
A recent report claimed that United were interested in a deal for the Frenchman, and according to RMC Sport, the 20-time English champions have now started discussions with the midfielder's entourage.
The report claims that Bayern would be prepared to sell for €35m (£30.7m) in the upcoming market, which could run until October due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The Red Devils also continue to be linked with Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho but are allegedly wary of committing to a £115m deal at this stage.
