Napoli have reportedly joined Roma in a pursuit for Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian.
The 26-year-old joined the Red Devils from Torino just last summer, but since Jose Mourinho replaced Louis van Gaal as manager, his future has plunged into doubt.
The Italian was not included in the squad that sealed a 3-1 win over Bournemouth on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
It was recently reported by Calciomercato that Roma are favourites to sign Darmian, but according to Football Italia, Napoli are also keen on a swoop for the player.
It is believed that United will sell if they receive a bid in the region of £12m, which is the sum they paid Torino for his services last year.
