Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund are offered the chance to sign Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek on loan, acceding to a report.

Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek on loan during the January transfer window.

The Netherlands international is still struggling for regular action at Old Trafford, with interim head coach Ralf Rangnick also overlooking for the midfielder when it comes to a starting spot.

Van de Beek is said to be desperate to secure first-team football in the second half of the 2021-22 campaign in the hope of making the Netherlands squad for the 2022 World Cup.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Man United have offered Newcastle and Dortmund the opportunity to sign the 24-year-old on loan.

Van de Beek has scored once in 13 appearances for the 20-time English champions during the current season, but he has played just 67 minutes of Premier League football in 2021-22.

The Dutchman was also overlooked for a starting role against Aston Villa in the FA Cup last time out, featuring for just the final 18 minutes of his side's 1-0 win over Steven Gerrard's side.
