Premier League trio Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton have all reportedly identified Wigan Athletic youngster Joe Gelhardt as a possible transfer target this summer.
Gelhardt broke into Wigan's Under-18 team at the age of just 15 and, still only 16 years of age, has featured regularly for the side this season.
The striker has also featured for England at Under-15 and Under-16 level, scoring twice in four appearances for his country to help them finish third at the Montaigu Tournament in France earlier this year.
ESPN reports that Gelhardt's performances for club and country have alerted a number of Premier League clubs, who are now considering an approach.
Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton are all thought to have monitored the youngster's performance for some time now and are ready to test Wigan's resolve with an official bid.
Wigan remain determined to keep the bright prospect at the DW Stadium this summer, but are expecting offers for him.
