Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain.
De Gea has just entered his eighth campaign at Old Trafford, and United are keen for the long-serving stopper to extend his contract past 2019.
However, the 27-year-old is said to have grown frustrated with the current atmosphere behind the scenes at the club, leading to suggestions that a new deal will not be penned in the near future.
According to the Daily Mail, that has alerted Paris Saint-Germain, who are likely to soon be in the market for a successor to Gianluigi Buffon.
The French giants would have to find a solution to their issues with FFP, but the Ligue 1 outfit may jump at an opportunity to fill a position which has sometimes proven to be problematic.
United hold the option of extending De Gea's contract by a further 12 months.
