Real Madrid have reportedly joined the race to sign in-demand Eintracht Frankfurt forward Andre Silva.
With Karim Benzema set to turn 35 next year and Mariano Diaz failing to fire, Los Blancos are thought to be eyeing a new frontman for the 2021-22 campaign.
Zinedine Zidane's side did welcome Luka Jovic to the club from Frankfurt in 2019, but the Serbia international struggled to adapt to life in Madrid and is now plying his trade back at Frankfurt on loan.
According to Bild, Real Madrid could look to use Jovic as part of a deal for Silva, who is also thought to be on Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund's radar.
The report claims that Real are willing to let Jovic rejoin Frankfurt permanently for a fee of €20m (£17.5m), and they would then bid to sign his strike partner Silva for double the price at €40m (£35m).
Silva has been in scintillating form this season with 25 goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances - level with Erling Braut Haaland and only behind Robert Lewandowski in the goalscoring charts.
