Anthony Martial is a reported £60m target for La Liga rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid, who are ready to do battle over the Manchester United forward's signature.
The France international marked his big-money arrival at Old Trafford last season with an impressive 17 goals in all competitions, making him the Red Devils' top-scoring player.
It has been a slower start to things this time around, though, as the 20-year-old has four goals in 16 appearances so far, two of which came in the 4-1 EFL Cup drubbing of West Ham United earlier this week.
According to The Sun, Madrid and Barcelona are ready to battle it out off the field in an attempt to lure Martial to Spain, with Los Blancos said to be the favourites to land him due to James Rodriguez's current unhappiness at the Bernabeu due to a lack of playing time.
It is claimed that United are long-time admirers of the Colombian, who could be used as part of a swap deal, while Barca have not given up hope as they were tracking the former AS Monaco man before he made his high-profile move to the Premier League 16 months ago.
Martial, who was also linked with Paris Saint-Germain recently, joined United in a deal worth £36m that could rise to £60m should he hit various targets.
