Manchester United manager David Moyes has reportedly banned the club's travelling contingent from discussing Wayne Rooney's future while on tour.
The Red Devils are currently negotiating their way through a tour of the Far East and Australia, with daily reports about Rooney's future appearing in the media.
The United striker is reportedly unhappy at Old Trafford and is keen to move on this summer.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho recently confirmed that the Blues were looking to bring the England international to Stamford Bridge during the transfer window.
However, as the speculation grows, Moyes has told players, former players and officials involved in the tour that Rooney's future must not be talked about, according to Fox Sports.
Moyes is said to have grown tired of answering questions on the player's future and has decided to clamp down on the interviews with reporters.
The Scot's first game as United boss ended in defeat as they were beaten 1-0 by a Singha All Star XI team on Saturday.
