Mathieu Valbuena was attacked by fans after Lyon's 1-1 draw against Marseille on Sunday, according to reports.

Lyon attacking midfielder Mathieu Valbuena was reportedly assaulted after the club's 1-1 draw with Marseille on Sunday.

The 30-year-old returned to the Velodrome for the first time after leaving the club in 2014 and was targeted by Marseille fans during the game, leading to play being suspended for over 20 minutes.
