Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray has admitted that his side are missing the influence of defender Jonathan Woodgate.
The 32-year-old has made 11 appearances this season although his recent absence from the team has seen Middlesbrough lose three out of the last four games, and Mowbray has acknowledged that it would be beneficial to the team's promotion push if Woodgate can remain fit.
Mowbray told BBC Tees: "You don't realise until you see him train the things he does so well for the team.
"It's things we're probably missing - those fine margins.
"If we can improve on his availability for the rest of the season and get him into a good percentage of matches then I think he'll really help the cause."
Middlesbrough are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table.
