Middlesbrough are poised to complete a cut-price deal to sign Polish-international Patryk Malecki.
The Wisla Krakow striker has two years remaining on his current contract, however he is out of favour and has been suspended following a bust-up with the club's owner.
The Polish champions are keen to offload him and would be happy to accept £500k from the Teesiders, according to The Sun.
Marvin Emnes is Boro's leading goalscorer so far this season, with 11 Championship strikes.
