Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Marek Hamsik is in talks over a move away from the club, with a switch to the Chinese Super League believed to be on the horizon.
Hamsik made his 520th appearance for Napoli in Saturday's 3-0 win over Sampdoria in Serie A.
No player has appeared on more occasions for Napoli, while the 31-year-old is also the Italian club's all-time leading goalscorer with 121 strikes in all competitions, surpassing Diego Maradona in December 2017.
Hamsik has not always been in the team this season, however, and Ancelotti has revealed that the midfielder is currently discussing a move away from Naples, with Chinese outfit Dalian Yifang reportedly the favourites.
"There are talks in progress and we are weighing it up together with the player,' Ancelotti told reporters. "This club has great respect for this player, he has made history here, and if we wants a new experience, we are inclined to make it happen."
Hamsik is also Slovakia's most capped player with 111 appearances.
