Napoli striker Edinson Cavani has put Real Madrid and Barcelona on red alert by admitting that he feels he would be ideally suited to the Spanish game.
The Uruguay international has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Italy and it was claimed earlier this week that Paris Saint-Germain were prepared to offer £64m for his services.
However, Cavani has hinted that if he were ever to leave Naples, he would be more interested in a move to Spain.
"I really like English football as well as Italian, but I am also a fan of Spanish football," said Cavani.
"There are more spaces there and it's great for a striker who likes to move around on the pitch. Spain is ideal for me and I'd be very happy to play there."
Cavani has scored 41 goals in 61 appearances since his move from Palermo in 2010.
