Newcastle United winger Matt Ritchie has reportedly returned to training ahead of this weekend's Premier League action.
The 28-year-old was forced to drop out of the Scotland squad with an injury, which poured doubt over his availability for the game against Huddersfield Town.
Ritchie played 87 minutes of his nation's 1-0 defeat to Costa Rica in an international friendly last Friday evening.
According to PA, the winger returned to training with his Newcastle teammates on Wednesday after his injury was looked over by the club's medical staff.
Ritchie has scored twice in his last three outings for the Magpies.
