Remy Cabella happy at Newcastle United

Newcastle United midfielder Remy Cabella believes that he made the right decision to join the club this summer.

Remy Cabella has said that he made a good choice by moving to Newcastle United.

The 24-year-old midfielder joined the Magpies from Montpellier HSC in July on a six-year deal.

Cabella has admitted that while there was interest shown in him by other clubs, it was always his desire to join Newcastle.

"It was the best choice for me, the club that I needed," he told France Football.

"Everyone here, the club, the staff, the coach, is trusting me. They did their very best to sign me, first in January and then this summer again. There were others clubs interested, but I only had Newcastle in my mind."

Cabella has made four appearances for the Magpies so far this season.
