Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has tipped Steve Bruce for the LMA Manager of the Year award.
The Hull City boss has overseen the Tigers' rise to 11th in the Premier League this term, and Pardew believes that Bruce deserves recognition for his achievements.
He told reporters: "With my LMA hat on, I think Steve Bruce has been Manager of the Year up until this point. He's got another 10 games to finish like he did last year.
"It's been a magnificent achievement from him and his staff, and [the KC Stadium] is a tough place to go. They've only been beaten there four times and only conceded 10 goals I think.
"It's a great home record and it's a tough ask for us this weekend."
Pardew's Magpies are currently eighth in the division.
