Newcastle United are thought to be planning a summer bid for Huddersfield Town's top scorer Jordan Rhodes.
The striker, who has netted 33 goals in 33 games for the League One side this season, has attracted interest from a host of Premier League and Championship clubs.
The Magpies are the latest top-flight team to be linked with the 22-year-old, according to caughtoffside.com.
Manager Alan Pardew is expected to be more than happy to match Town's £6m valuation for the player.
Rhodes was recently named the League One Player of the Year at the Football League Awards in London.
