Newcastle United have reportedly decided not to consider a swoop for Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy.
QPR are said to be keen on offloading a number of their high-profile stars in order to lessen the wage bill at Loftus Road.
While the Magpies originally placed Remy as an option following their failure to land Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, it is understood that Newcastle have decided to look elsewhere, according to The Chronicle.
The North-East club have already acquired their first signing of the summer in the form of French teen Olivier Kemen.
