Peterborough United have signed teenager Jonson Clarke-Harris after he was not offered a new deal at Coventry City.
The 18-year-old has today put pen to paper on a two-year deal at London Road.
Speaking to Peterborough's website, manager Darren Ferguson said: "[Clarke-Harris] actually played against our youth team in a friendly last season and he caught the eye.
"He has an extremely powerful left foot, he is big, strong, wants to learn and we think he has a chance.
"It is our gain and Coventry's loss, I have seen him at first hand and we felt it was a bit of a no-brainer for us."
The Posh begin their season with a trip to Leicester City on August 18.
