The agent of Roma winger Daniele Verde has revealed that he is "working on the negotiations" over a potential move to Porto for his client.
Verde, 22, came through the youth system at Roma, and made seven Serie A appearances for the Italian giants during the 2014-15 campaign.
The Italy Under-21 international has spent time out on loan at Frosinone, Pescara, Avellino and Hellas Verona in recent seasons though, and has been linked with a move to Porto this summer.
Luigi Lauro, who represents Verde, has revealed that he is in talks with Porto, although it is understood that Roma's £5.3m asking price is proving problematic.
"I am in Oporto, but I cannot say any more than that," O Jogo quotes Lauro as saying. "We are working on the negotiations, but it's complicated."
Verde scored twice in 30 Serie A appearances for Hellas Verona last season.
