Preview: Paris Saint-Germain vs. Marseille

Sports Mole previews the top-of-the-table clash in Ligue 1 between Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille.

Paris Saint-Germain can move to within one point of leaders Marseille if they can win at the Parc des Princes on Sunday evening.

Laurent Blanc's team have failed to top Ligue 1 all season but after putting together a 16-game undefeated streak since the start of August, they are favourites to topple their high-flying opponents.

Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could return after stepping up his recovery from a heel injury, and a partnership in attack with the in-form Edinson Cavani, who has eight goals this terms, would strengthen PSG's chances of victory.

With no European involvement to contend with, Marseille have taken advantage of being able to focus on league action by putting together nine wins in 12 games.

Their goals have come from all over pitch but Andre-Pierre Gignac leads the way with 10 strikes, although he hasn't netted in his last two fixtures.

Coach Marcelo Bielsa will be without Alaixys Romao after the defender picked up two yellow cards in the 2-1 triumph over Lens last weekend.
