Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has played down injury fears surrounding Djibril Cisse after the striker picked up a hamstring problem.
The striker was forced to come off after only 20 minutes of Friday's pre-season win over Malaysian side Kelantan.
Despite the scare, Hughes believed that the 30-year-old should be out of action for no longer than 10 days.
"Djib felt some reaction in his hamstring," he told the club's official website. "He did the right thing by coming off quickly so that he didn't do any more damage.
"We're hopeful that it's just a slight strain and nothing more serious than that. We're hopeful it won't be any longer than a week to 10 days, but it's too early to say for definite."
QPR start the upcoming Premier League season at home to Swansea City on Saturday, August 18.
