Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes will investigate alleged comments that Federico Macheda made on Twitter.

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has revealed that he will look into comments that Federico Macheda allegedly wrote on Twitter earlier today.

The on-loan Manchester United striker was angry at being left out of the squad for today's 1-1 draw with Everton at Loftus Road.

"Totally p****d off...this is not what i deserve! **** all!!!!!," read a post on the Italian's Twitter account.

Hughes responded by saying: "What is he talking about? Perhaps he has broken a watch or dropped his phone.

"Who knows what he has done. You're assuming it is about the game and not being involved.

"Until I speak to him I can't really comment, can I?"

Macheda, who has since deleted his Twitter account, joined Rangers during the January transfer window.
