Queens Park Rangers dismiss reports that manager Mark Hughes has been sacked, with the Welshman's representative too denying the rumours.

Queens Park Rangers' head of media and communications, Ian Taylor, has confirmed that manager Mark Hughes has not been sacked.

This follows the club's chief executive Phillip Beard's revelation that it was "business as usual" at Loftus Road on Monday.

"Rumours suggesting Mark Hughes has been sacked as QPR manager tonight are not true," wrote Taylor on his official Twitter page.

Hughes's representative too has denied reports that the 49-year-old has been dismissed by the London club.

"These rumours are not true at all," Kia Joorabchian told BBC Sport.

Reports on Monday evening had suggested that Hughes was no longer the QPR manager following a two-hour meeting with Beard.
