Queens Park Rangers officials are reportedly furious with defender Jose Bosingwa after he was seen laughing minutes after the club's relegation to the Championship was confirmed.
The Portuguese was caught grinning as he headed down the tunnel at the Madejski Stadium following Rangers' 0-0 draw with Reading.
The Daily Mail quotes some of the 30-year-old's teammates as saying that he is 'arrogant' and 'disrespectful' and this latest incident will all but confirm his exit from the club.
Despite these comments, manager Harry Redknapp defended Bosingwa, suggesting that he was sharing a joke with Reading's Daniel Carrico.
He told reporters: "He was laughing because as he walked down the tunnel, another foreign lad came up and said something to him and he laughed and put his arm around him.
"He wasn't laughing about being relegated, that's for sure."
Chairman Tony Fernandes confirmed that he will meet with Redknapp today to discuss the club's future.
