Rangers midfielder Steven Naismith has said that he would be available for the Team GB squad at next year's London Olympics.
The Scottish Football Association have expressed their disapproval of a united British side at the Games.
"I think we should be available for it, not so much for the political side of it, but more for the fact we can show we've got talent north of the border," Naismith told the Ibrox Edition.
"To play in these kinds of tournaments and to be in the starting lineup for Team GB would be great and for that reason I'd definitely make myself available.
"You'd be crazy not to consider it. Everybody has got their own views but for me personally, I'd be available."
The 25-year-old has been sidelined for the rest of the season with cruciate ligament damage.
