Former Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor has been tipped to rejoin the club when his contract at Hull City expires this summer.
According to Sky Sports News, the 36-year-old is on the verge of signing a pre-contract agreement with the Ibrox outfit.
McGregor played for Rangers between 2001 and 2012, leaving to join Besiktas in Turkey after the club was liquidated following a period of financial turmoil.
The veteran stopper is expected to compete with Wes Foderingham for first-team football at the Scottish club.
Rangers are currently second in the Scottish Premiership, locked in a battle for the runners-up spot with Aberdeen and Hibernian.
