Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is expecting Toni Kroos to be available for next week's Champions League last-16 second leg with Paris Saint-Germain at Bernabeu.
The Germany international has picked up a hamstring problem which will rule him out of Saturday's La Liga contest with Real Sociedad.
However, Ancelotti, speaking during Friday's press conference, is hopeful that the midfielder will be able to overcome the "small problem" in time for the European clash with PSG.
Meanwhile, Federico Valverde will also miss out against Real Sociedad through illness but should be available to take on Mauricio Pochettino's side on March 9.
"Kroos was rested recently in the match against Alaves, so his injury wasn't because of a lack of rotation. It was bad luck. Right now, we don't have many injuries and to have so few injuries at this point in the season means we've managed the physical condition of the players well," Ancelotti told reporters.
"I've not done things perfectly, but I've managed the squad better than some say. Valverde and Kroos will be out for this weekend's game, but Valverde won't have any problem for the next [the PSG game] and I think Kroos neither. It was a small problem. I should have almost all my squad available for that game."
Real Madrid, who trail PSG 1-0 in the last-16 stage of the Champions League, are currently six points clear of second-placed Sevilla at the top of La Liga.
