England and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham might reportedly require surgery on a persistent knee injury this summer.
The 19-year-old missed Borussia Dortmund's final-day draw to Mainz 05 on Saturday which gifted the Bundesliga title to Bayern Munich.
Bellingham has often been seen with strapping on his knee while playing recently, but those injury concerns did not stop him from claiming the Bundesliga Player of the Season accolade.
Consequently though, the Daily Mail claims that Bellingham is set to pull out of the England squad ahead of June's Euro 2024 qualifiers, with fears that he will need surgery.
Bellingham has featured in England's last 10 matches, but he is now set to miss the upcoming double-header against Malta and North Macedonia, with the Three Lions currently top of their qualifying section.
With a move to Real Madrid said to be in the works, it is unclear as to whether this news may scupper any deal, with nothing yet confirmed on that front.
