Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal reveals his delight after scoring his first Los Blancos goal in Saturday's 5-0 win over Rayo Vallecano at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid right-back Dani Carvajal has revealed his delight after scoring his first Los Blancos goal in Saturday's 5-0 win over Rayo Vallecano.

The Spaniard netted Madrid's second at the Bernabeu before revealing his shin guard in dedication to his family.

"I really wanted to score in this shirt and showed my shin guard to dedicate the goal to my family," Inside Spanish Football quotes the defender as saying.

"We're all confident that we can turn this situation around and win La Liga. We will not give up. There are seven finals ahead of us and we going to give our all to earn all the points.

"If we do that we'll be champions and if not, we'll shake the hands of the champions. We earned a great result and this gets a very excited for the match on Wednesday."

Los Blancos remain third in La Liga.
