The Madrid derby between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid at the Vicente Calderon in La Liga has been set for the evening of March 2.
The LFP confirmed the date earlier this afternoon, with the fixture due to take place on the same evening that fellow title rivals Barcelona host Almeria at the Camp Nou.
The match could be decisive in terms of the La Liga title, with Atletico currently sitting three points clear of third-placed Real Madrid at the top of the table.
Atletico have won each of the last two matches between the two sides and would set a record of three consecutive wins over Los Blancos if they triumph in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals this evening.
