Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has insisted that the club has not signed a pre-contract agreement with anyone.
Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi revealed his suspicion on Monday that coach Carlo Ancelotti has agreed on a deal with Los Blancos, despite still being under contract with the French champions.
"We have no pre-contract signed with any managerial candidate," BBC Sport quotes Perez as saying. "It's something we'll have to look at in the coming days."
Perez announced the departure of Jose Mourinho at the end of the season on Monday evening.
