James Rodriguez has backed himself to have a productive season under the guidance of Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.
Speculation persisted over Rodriguez's future during the summer transfer window after the playmaker had completed a two-year loan period at Bayern Munich.
However, despite being linked with Atletico Madrid and Napoli, the Colombia international remained at the Bernabeu, and the 28-year-old is happy to be back working with the manager of Los Blancos.
Rodriguez is quoted by Marca as saying: "I think that a lot of people knew that I wanted to stay here. I think I can have a good season and achieve important things.
"With the support of the boss that I have at the moment, it will happen. I have an ideal relationship with Zidane."
Rodriguez has made a total of three starts in La Liga and the Champions League during the current campaign.
