AC Milan have reportedly identified Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic as a potential signing before the end of the transfer window.
As a result of netting 27 goals for Eintracht Frankfurt last season, Real were prepared to spend £54m on the Serbia international earlier this summer.
However, there have been suggestions that Zinedine Zidane has been left less than impressed with the 21-year-old's contribution since moving to the Bernabeu, with the La Liga outfit allegedly now prepared to consider loan offers.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are now contemplating a move for Jovic as they continue to search for a new striker.
The Italian giants are currently against shelling out big money, meaning that they are likely to be open to taking advantage of signing Jovic on a temporary basis.
Having given the player a six-year contract, Real will not consider permanent bids before September 2.
