Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to part ways with midfielder Brahim Diaz, less than a year after signing the youngster from Manchester City.

Real Madrid are reportedly willing to part ways with Brahim Diaz during the January transfer window.

At the start of 2019, Real paid £22m to sign the young midfielder from Manchester City, seemingly ready to hand the prospect plenty of first-team opportunities at the Bernabeu.

However, while injuries have played a part, the 20-year-old has made just five starts and seven substitute outings in all competitions.

According to AS, the lack of game-time has contributed to Los Blancos being prepared to cash in on the Spaniard at the midway point of the campaign.

The report says that Diaz has already been informed that he is free to find a new club at a time when Real are searching for reinforcements.

Diaz still has over five years remaining on his contract with the La Liga giants.
