Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has affirmed that he is solely focused on the remainder of the current campaign amid speculation surrounding his next career move.
Ronaldo and the Old Lady were sent packing in the last 16 of the Champions League by Porto on March 9, and rumours have been circulating surrounding the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's future ever since.
A recent report claimed that the Portugal captain is keen to complete a sensational return to Real Madrid, but he took to social media to play down the widespread transfer speculation as he gears up for the final months of the season.
Ronaldo wrote on Instagram: "More important than the number of falls you take in life, is how fast and how strong you get back on your feet... True champions never break!
"Our focus is already in Cagliari, in the Serie A struggle, in the Italian Cup final and in everything that we can still achieve this season. It's true that the past belongs in museums (I should say!), but fortunately, football has memory... and so do I!
"History can't be deleted, it's written every single day with resilience, team spirit, persistence and lots of hard work. And those who don't understand this, will never achieve glory and success #finoallafine."
Ronaldo's contract at the Allianz Stadium will expire in less than 18 months' time, and club director Fabio Paratici has admitted that no talks have been planned over an extension yet.
